I’m Anitha Chandak , a passionate fashion designer, costume aficionado, and seasoned entrepreneur. with a solid foundation in fashion design from the prestigious National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), and over 15 years of hands-on experience in running a successful retail store, I’ve curated a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the dynamic world of fashion.

A Journey in Fashion

My journey in fashion began with a spark of creativity that ignited during my formative years. This passion led me to pursue a course in fashion design from NIFT, where I honed my skills and gained invaluable insights into the nuances of design, textiles, and trends.

Costume Design and beyond

Following my education, I ventured into the captivating realm of costume design. Collaborating with various productions and artists, I had the privilege of bringing characters to life through the art of costume. This experience not only fueled my creativity but also instilled in me a deep appreciation for the transformative power of fashion.

Entrepreneurial spirit

Driven by my entrepreneurial spirit and a desire to share my love for fashion with the world, I embarked on the exhilarating journey of establishing my own retail store TINGU MINGU in Chennai. Over the past 15 years, I’ve had the pleasure of curating a unique collection of clothing and accessories, catering to the diverse tastes and preferences of my clientele.
